Heating
Preventive Maintenance
Plan
East Coast Petroleum
will provide and maintain the heating system with three (3) calls per year. One
(1) call in the spring after shut down of system. One (1) call in the summer
for a cleaning and tune up. One (1) call in the fall before system is started
up.
Spring and fall inspections will consist of:
- Inspection of boiler
- Start up and inspection of burner
- Oil & lube all motors
- Test all limit controls
- Test primary safety control for
lock out
- Clean & flush all low water
cutoffs
- Clean & check all water
feeders
- Clean or replace sight glass
- Inspect fuel lines from oil
tank
- Inspect oil tanks (above ground
only)
- Inspect makeup water tanks &
pumps
- Combustion test heating
system
Summer inspection:
- Complete cleaning of boiler
- Tune up burner
- Plus another inspection of boiler
(see inspection of boiler above)
Please Note: Upon completion of the tune up, you will
receive a detailed description of both your unit's efficiency and a
comprehensive report of our technician's
observations/recommendations.
