Payment Plans
These high prices are a burden to all of us. With prices at record highs, in order to continue to offer the most competitive pricing and cost controlled overhead, we are changing our payment options to serve you better and more efficient. Please take a look at our payment plans and options for the next heating season.
We will offer the following CREDIT TERMS:
- 10-month Budget Plan: Starting July 15th
- Pre-pay: Based on usage from last heating season and at % discounted price
- Credit Card: Automatic monthly credit card charge which allows you longer payment terms, as we can charge your card in the beginning or in the middle of the month.
- COD: Pay cash on delivery or pre-pay with credit card prior to delivery at discounted prices
Oil heat prices and prices for all energy sources continue to rise by increased demand from around the world, a devalued dollar, and unregulated futures traded on the global commodities markets.
We’re not happy about higher oil heat prices either but we are all in this together. We know that energy costs are cyclical, and we are confident that oil heat prices will drop again. In the meantime, we thank you for choosing safe, clean, modern OILHEAT and for your continued business. CAPPED PRICE- The Capped Price allows us to purchase volumes on your behalf to protect against any price increases throughout the winter season. The Premium Insurance Protection and membership fee that is paid upon signing a contract for these types of programs, guaranties you a ceiling on the cost per gallon as well as downside protection, in case the oil prices go lower than the capped price you are paying, we will then charge the lower price. These programs usually run between December 15th and April 15th of every winter season. Customers on these programs must be on AUTOMATIC DELIVERY and may also be on a Budget Plan which usually starts in July of every year for a 10 month period. Generally, a liquidation fee applies if cancelling prior to program ending dates. Before and after these dates, customers pay the market retail prices per gallon.
FIXED Price: A contract to purchase a set amount of gallons of fuel for a fixed price and during a specific time period. Payment terms APPLY as we have to purchase the fuel up-front to ensure that you have it at that fixed price.
RETAIL Price: A customer that has filled out a residential credit application and has been approved based on good credit standing has 10 day grace period to pay and must maintain an account in good standing at all times.
CREDIT CARD Price: A set price for payments via credit card and it carries administrative fees. We accept all major credit cards. We accept credit card information only via phone by the card owner.
CASH ON DELIVERY Price: Some customers choose to pay for their deliveries as they receive them. You must be home when a delivery is made and pay cash for that delivery. You may also call the office prior to that and pay with a credit card. We do not accept personal checks for C.O.D. deliveries.
